Early Bird Group 1: Ready yourselves!

We've submitted the lock request for all backers in Early Bird Group 1!

This means you have just under 48 hours for any last minute address changes or questions before orders start receiving tracking numbers.

Please keep in mind tracking numbers will be updated throughout the wave, so some backers will receive them before others.

Hey Everyone! Luke here - hope you are all doing well!

Though Marissa and I both put a lot of work into Dicebound, we have very different brains. She's the creative one, with mad art and design skills, the eye for neat-looking things, insane passion, and the energy to carry us through!

Me? I live in the world of numbers. Spreadsheets are.. (checks spreadsheet)..  An enormous part of my day.  Logistics, budgets, timelines, item counts not to mention a whole bunch more math floating around on the back end.  As I get to write today's update, I'm going to do it my way, with some numbers!

Current Status Report

Coins, Bags, Stickers, and Art:  100%. All have been produced and received here and are waiting to head out to their new homes.

Classic Edge Dice: 100%. These are all on premises, counted, and confirmed. There will of course be a final quality check as they get packed for shipping.. but they are ready to go!

Sharp Edge Dice: 95%. We're nearing completion of all the sets we need to fulfill. There is still some quality checking, sorting, and packaging to happen.

Bottles and Wax Seals: 85%. The bottles were the only supply we had to order and ship via boat. We've received enough to cover the first couple of waves, which should give us lots of time for the rest to show up.  Our supplier was nice enough to send the corks early for us to get stampin' on those wax seals!

Caffeine Levels: 128.7%. Coffee, it's what's for breakfast.

Timeline: 95% on schedule (because the world is unpredictable) *knocks on wood*. Dare I say we are on schedule to ship as per our original expected dates?  Our goal is to start providing 'Early Bird Wave 1' tracking numbers and have packages heading out the door mid to late January.   We've made a bunch of changes to our process since Volume 1, plus having trained the puppies to contribute, we suspect the rest of the other waves will follow on time as well. Of course if this changes for any reason you'll be the first to know. Ideally all shipping will be wrapped up early April. 

As some time has passed since Backerkit closed up, this is a friendly prod to make sure your information has not changed since you submitted it.  We'll gladly answer any questions or concerns in the KS comments section, but if your order needs changes you'll need to contact us via email at [email protected] 

We'll be providing updates here as each wave is shipped, so you can expect to hear from us soon.

Happy (almost) Halloween folks!

We've got some treats for you today. The stickers and coins are here and are now waiting to be sent off to their new homes next year. The coins turned out slightly darker than the original samples but we think it just adds to the antique look!

Everything else is on schedule and it's looking like we will be able to meet our original shipping estimates! We can't wait to get your new dice in your hands!
